Can we always help?

No.

As in any medical treatment, the results are not always what are desired. Sometimes snoring will not be relieved, and sometimes obstructive sleep apnea is not successfully treated. This is because of individual variations in the body's response to treatments.

We study and attend conferences and seminars continually. You can view Dr. Wartell's list of accredited continuing education here. We are always increasing our knowledge as more is discovered by medical science.

We do our best to determine the therapy or therapies that will help you. In many cases we will suggest referral to other practitioners for treatment in addition to what we are able to do for you. For obstructive sleep apnea, some people cannot be helped except by using a CPAP device. If dental appliance therapy is not right for you, your physician can help select the CPAP type and the correct volume of air to help you sleep efficiently and healthfully.
